The 2025 KPQG Retreat will be held February 21-23, 2025 at Homer’s Lands End Resort. To attend complete the 2025 Registration Form found in this newsletter. The conference room will be available for retreat sewers to set up and sew on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 1:00 pm. You must be a paid 2024-2025 member of the Kenai Peninsula Quilters Guild in order to register for and attend the retreat. Be sure to renew your membership! Only registered attendees may set up and sew in the conference room during the retreat.
We have revised the way retreat attendees will be receiving Retreat packets and updates. Retreat packets will be emailed to attendees within 2 weeks following the Annual Meeting on October 5, 2024 or emailed shortly after received by the retreat chair. If you do not use email we will make special arrangements to get retreat information to you.
The retreat packet will include a schedule of events, fabric requirements for the mystery quilt, block information along with additional details for retreat.
At the annual meeting if more than 60 registrations have been received, we would then have a drawing for the 60 seats putting everyone else on a waiting list. People on the waiting list have gotten into the retreat in the past; circumstances change where many times seats open up. The final date to register for the retreat or request a refund is January 1, 2025. We will be drawing for one scholarship from the general membership at the October meeting. This covers retreat fees, t-shirt and 2 nights at Lands End!!!
Sharon Hale will be hosting a Buy-Sell-Trade table again this year!
Call Lands Ends at (907)235-0400 or 1-800-478-0400 to make a reservation, and be sure to mention you will be attending the KPQG Retreat on February 21-23, 2025. The hotel block for quilters is open. If you are planning on attending make room reservations early for best pricing! If something comes up you can always cancel your reservation.
The cost of the retreat remains at $150.00.
