We are a diverse group of quilters who live on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, which is about 100 + miles from Anchorage. To get together, many of us need to drive at least a couple of hours, or fly in. But what better place on earth in which to do so!
The boundaries of the borough encompass a total of 25,600 square miles, of which 15,700 square miles are land. In comparison, the total land mass of the borough equals that of Massachusetts and New Jersey combined. However, the total borough population is less than 1/400th of that same area. We do have at least 5 quilt shops in the Borough to keep us quilting.
Our collective quilting interests include a very broad spectrum. We hope you enjoy perusing our website, and if you are in the area, check our calendar. There may be an event to attend. Please do – we’d love to meet you!
