Hi All,

What a wonderful spring we are having so far.  The sun sure feels good.  I know that a lot of us have a very full summer with fishing, gardening and camping plans.  I hope you will consider taking a class with the guild.  Here is the info on the upcoming classes this summer and fall.

Alaska Quilt, July 9th and 10th 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM $75.00 this quilt measures 71”x71”

This class is currently full, but there are only two people on the waitlist so if you would like to be on the waiting list, please let me know.  

Pam Ventgen is teaching the Alaska Quilt by Laundry basket quilts. This quilt is made using the templates and there are so many beautiful colorways for this quilt. This class is traditional piecing using templates to cut out fabric.

Fri, Sep 10 - Sat, Sep 11 2021, all day

Sept 10th, and 11th. Chic Sisters and scalloped borders. $75

There is still room left in Dana's class, please let me know if you would like to join the fun.  

Dana Lewis will be teaching Chic Sisters pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful. This quilt measures 60x72”. In this class you will learn how to use the Wonder Curve ruler. This ruler can be used for so many different patterns, look up Sew Kind of Wonderful on the internet and check it out.

On Saturday Dana will be teaching how to scallop borders for the scallop borders class, you will need to bring a completed quilt top that has been quilted, but not the binding put on. This can be your choice of size down to a large table runner.

For the summer of 2022 we have some exciting teachers coming up from the lower 48. 

Katie Pedersen, is a national quilting teacher and has taught at QuiltCon for many years.  Check out her website for her style and projects.  Sew Katie Did.  She will be teaching June 10th and 11th 2022.  Project is still to be determined.

rulerMark Sherman is an international Art Quilt teacher.  He has some amazing quilts you can check out at Remarkable Quilts. The classes haven't yet been determined.  

Our local teacher/Designer Brenda Clyde will be teaching an original quilt pattern on Sept. 9th and 10th.  Project to be determined. 

quiltI am currently contacting teachers for the summer of 2023 and am anticipating some wonderful learning opportunities for our guild.  Please contact me if you have any suggestions for teachers you would like to see come and teach.
