Greetings from Kathleen Barkley and Sue Magyar, your Retreat Co-Chairs.
We've been fairly busy, planning for 2026, getting things ready and lined up. Much of it will be saved as surprises for all of you attending, but we'd like to share some key points.
We will be enjoying the hospitality of Land's End once again. The official retreat dates are Friday, February 20th through Sunday, February 22nd. The Quarterdeck will be open and ready for you on Wednesday, February 18th, so you can get settled in, start some projects, or visit friends you haven't seen in a year.
Christina, the Event Coordinator for Land's End, has reserved a block of25 rooms for retreat participants and encourages participants to make their reservations sooner than later. She also shared that there will be an increased cost for room reservations, but at this time she did not have a percentage to share with us.
Call Lands Ends at (907)235-0400 or 1-800-478-0400 to make a reservation and be sure to mention you will be attending the KPQG Retreat on February 20-22, 2026.
At this time, we do not have any information on any other additional or increased expenses relating to Retreat (i.e. food) and are hoping to maintain the current $150/person Retreat expense.
