There was an accident at the fair while we were hanging the quilts this year. Because of that we were unable to have judging of the quilts. Instead we decided to do a peoples choice award. Each person who came to the show was asked to vote for their top 3 favorites. Even though we had a rough start, the show was a success.
Aline Huey for won Peoples Choice Grand Champion. Joann Herring received First Place for her quilt, Denali. Alice Krivitsky got Second Place for Jake's Graduation Quilt and Margaret Lau received Third Place for her "Terry's Quilt".
I am happy to announce that if you had a quilt in this year’s fair and you would like to have it judged, you can re-enter your quilt again next year.
I would like to thank everyone who volunteered. I really appreciated everyone who helped make this event a success. I couldn’t have done it without all of you.
