We are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new friends next February at the 2016 KPQG Retreat at Land’s End Resort in Homer. The Retreat officially starts February 19th through the 21st, but the Quarter Deck will be available starting on Wednesday February 17th, at 10:00 am.
For those of you who are making the block for the drawing, please remember to write your name on one of the inside seams. There will be a flannel board to hang your block(s) on in the conference room.
Don’t forget to bring a door prize if you wish to participate in the gift exchange and all the essentials; seam ripper, extension cord, a sewing machine in good working order, extra thread, chocolate, etc.
For those of you who haven’t made your reservations yet, a block of rooms have been set aside for the Kenai Peninsula Quilting Guild. You can make you reservation by calling (907) 235-0400.
For anyone who is still interested in signing up, there is a waiting list, and you will need to contact Sue Magyar. Sue will need your check for $130.00, made out to KPQG, which will be deposited. If you haven’t already, you will also need to pay your yearly $25.00 dues (send to Cathy Howlett). If enough spaces don’t open up, you will receive a full refund ($130.00).
