The 20th Annual Kenai Peninsula Quilting Guild Retreat will be held February 19-21, 2016, at the Land’s End Resort in Homer. Those planning on attending will receive their packet following the October 3rd Guild meeting in Soldotna. If possible, please get your Guild Membership Registration form and a check for $25.00 to Cathy Howlett prior to the October 3rd meeting. The form is available on the Guild’s website at http://kpqg.org/?q=content/membership-form Copies will also be available at the October meeting. The Registration Form for the February Retreat is also available on the website and copies will be available at the meeting. If you cannot attend the October meeting, and have paid your membership dues & filled out a retreat registration form, a retreat packet will be mailed to you. The upstairs sewing area, the Quarterdeck, will be available starting on Thursday, February 18th, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through Sunday, February 21st. Your packet will include a schedule of events, fabric requirements for a fun mystery, and more surprises. This year’s on-site vendor is Sheila Squires with Sew-n-Bee-Cozy in Seward. The deadline for signing up for the 2016 Retreat is January 1, 2016.
