Hi Fellow Quilters!
Heads up on a great opportunity this summer! Pam Ventgen has agreed to teach her class this year instead of 2023! So, mark those calendars for August 5th and 6th in Soldotna at Christ Lutheran Church. Barb Steckel our VP/Education Chair has included an attachment with all the information.
Let me know if you have any questions or trouble opening the attachment. Help spread the word to the membership in case they are having trouble getting their emails.

KPQG Annual Retreat
This event, attended by up to 60 Guild members, is much anticipated and very fun.
Getting Ready for Christmas
This event is for Guild members. Spend the day creating gift ideas brought to you by the three main communities of the KPQG. Fun!
4th Quarter Executive Board Meeting
Guild's Executive Board meets immediately following close of Membership Meeting.
General Membership Meeting
Guild Members meet. Short business meeting, followed by Show & Share, lunch, and an education program.
Dana Lewis Class
Sept 10th, and 11th . Chic Sisters and scalloped borders. $75
Dana Lewis will be teaching Chic Sisters pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful. This quilt measures 60x72”. In this class you will learn how to use the Wonder Curve ruler. This ruler can be used for so many different patterns, look up Sew Kind of Wonderful on the internet and check it out.

Alaska Quilt, July 9th and 10th 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM $75.00 This quilt measures 71”x71”
Pam Ventgen is teaching the Alaska Quilt by Laundry basket quilts. This quilt is made using the templates show below and there are so many beautiful colorways for this quilt. This class is traditional piecing using templates to cut out fabric.
Barb Steckel Class
Barbara Steckel is teaching a technic class on the Scrap Crazy 6” Ruler set. In this class you will be making sample blocks using the templates in several different ways. You will not have UFOs after class but will know how to play with these templates to create numerous projects. Here are just a few examples of what you could create.
