The days are getting longer and the weather is getting better. There's a slight shifting of gears, or at least thoughts in that direction - from quilting to gardening, company from outside, trips to visit loved ones, SUMMER!!! Until then, we're involved in quite a number of projects over here in Seward. There have been classes that several of us have taken. Barb Steckel's Brit's Blitz and Karrie Youngblood's Feathered Star class. Tammy's leading the block of the month and that's coming along very well. Baby welcome wagon quilts are keeping up with the population so far! There have been some really cute patterns that go together quickly, and we hear from PJ Bauer that the efforts are very much appreciated. Some of us got the opportunity to visit Homer and their wonderful quilt show. I've got the winning ticket for one of the quilt raffles over there, I'm sure! The Homer quilters do a fantastic job of putting on the event, and supplying the show with some very lovely creations.
